Fall Colors, Autumn 2022: E. Carroll Joyner Park

The short but mighty rain dampened Halloween yesterday. I had high hopes this year for an empty bowl of candy. Alas, it's still full, its contents destined to be donated. 

In any case, I love a good rain this time of year because it means raindrops on pretty leaves. The colors are in full bloom now and I awoke early to make my way to E. Carroll Joyner Park in Wake Forest. The trails are so pretty there! I plan on returning to catch the morning light on the trails but for now, I'm happy.
