Spring 2023

I'm getting back into photography again. I've really missed it. I cancelled my Adobe membership a couple of months ago - I wasn't taking advantage of it and I felt like I was wasting money. Taking a step away from my creative side made me realize that I needed a creative outlet. Being a plant parent wasn't fulfilling my need to create. I love my hoyas and love watching them grow, knowing that I am helping them thrive in my environment. However, it's not the same thing as using my eyes to create something beautiful.  I joined a Flower Photography group on FB but I'm not sure if it's the right fit for me. In any case, I still want to share what I'm making, so here are some of my most recent shots.  I've been enjoying the botanical gardens here and these are from the WRAL Azalea Garden (azaleas aren't in bloom yet, so the photos are mostly of hydrangeas LOL) and the JC Raulston Arboretum. I want to visit these again when more things are in bloom.
